Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis - Some old memories

My first game dev job was at Bluetongue Entertainment, starting in June 2000.

I worked on a game called Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy, which was a pretty cool Starship Troopers squad RTS game with a single player campaign.

I was doing QA Testing on the game, and also laid out the pathfinding nodes across many levels by hand.  I was the only QA person, so I had a lot of direct interaction with the team, which was really stimulating and educational.

After shipping that, we made Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, which was a great little dinosaur park building game for PC, PS2 and Xbox.

I was really lucky to work at a company that was bringing in some pretty cool licenses to work on.

You can download some Dinosaur Concept Art by Lloyd Chidgzey here (13mb).

Here's some photos from that time...

I'll aim to come back and add to this post some time with some more info.  :D
